Some of our best
work is free.
Waterstone Legal was built people-first, and that doesn't stop at the client list. Every month we give time, advice and shoe leather to the communities around our offices — free legal surgeries, pro bono casework, charity wills and sponsored walks. This page is where we keep count, and where you can join in.
To put our legal skills where they're needed most — pro bono work that defends rights, promotes equality and opens access to justice.
A society where no one is priced out of justice, and the law protects dignity and fairness for everyone.
Not a committee. Named people, real hours.
Social responsibility here isn't a pledge on a poster — it's solicitors giving their own time, month after month. Meet three of them.
The causes we show up for
Each November, participating solicitors waive their will-writing fee and invite a donation to Will Aid's partner charities instead. A will for you, a gift for someone else.
Helps women and children in London escape domestic abuse and rebuild their lives — safe accommodation, therapeutic support, advice and advocacy.

Helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are — from emergencies in the UK to humanitarian work around the world.
Walk 5k with us for Solace
We're lacing up for a 5k walk through Hyde Park to raise money and awareness for Solace, whose work helping women and children escape abuse and rebuild their lives leaves us in awe. One morning, one park, one cause — and a coffee together at the finish line.
Walk with us, or sponsor the team from wherever you are. Every donation goes to Solace Women's Aid.
Nearest tube: High Street Kensington
Talk to us anyway.
Come to our free legal surgery at Redbridge Foodbank — the third Saturday of every month, no appointment, no bill — or ask about flexible billing on compassionate cases. And if we can't help, we'll point you to someone who can.
